Cinderella: The Love of a Daddy and His Princess by Steven Curtis Chapman

CinderellaTakeaway: As much as I hate to admit it, there are whole categories of book that just do not work in ebook format.

Purchase Links: Hardback, Kindle Edition

I bought this as part of the weekend sale for a nickel.  It was worth a nickel, but not much more.  I read it on an iPad, so I had full color photography, but other than some nice pictures of Steven Curtis Chapman and his family there is not much to the book.

It has the words to the song, Cinderella.  And two letters from fans that liked the song.  And a couple notes from Steven and his wife about their children.  But that is it.

I am not sure if this is failed marketing or just a poorly conceived book.  I am unlikely to buy giftbook in the ebook format (I am unlikely to buy gift books regardless).  At a nickel I did not feel like I was cheated.  But at $10, this is not at all worth it.

  1. I agree with you on this one. It might have been nice as a printed book but on an e-ink kindle screen it was completely unimpressive. Glad I only paid a few cents for it because I finished it very very quickly
