# Paperwhite Kindle Reviews

The new [Amazon ](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GEKXUO/)[Paperwhite](http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B008GEKXUO/) has started shipping.  A few reviews are out ([Cnet](http://reviews.cnet.com/kindle-paperwhite/), [Verge](http://www.theverge.com/2012/9/30/3433110/amazon-kindle-paperwhite-review), [Kindle Chronicle](http://www.thekindlechronicles.com/2012/09/30/my-video-review-of-kindle-paperwhite/)).

A friend of mine needed to replace their kindle because of a broken screen and is shipping the Paperwhite to me so I could play with it a few days before passing it onto him.  I am out of town for work several days this week so I will not get it before I go.  I should have an initial impressions review on Thursday or Friday and a longer review over the weekend.
