# Top Non-Fiction Book Reviews so far this year

I am behind on my reading.  I was out of town for work 7 out of 10 days and I have been playing (but not reading much) on my ipad.  I hope I will finish a book by Wednesday.  All of the most read reviews were non-fiction.  I will hold a non-fiction top posts for the next time I am behind on reading.

Here are the top posts of this year to date.

[A Million Miles in  a Thousand Years and Blue Like Jazz by Donald Miller](https://bookwi.se/a-million-miles-in-a-thousand-years-and-blue-like-jazz-the-story-of-a-story/) – I know the post is from last year, but it is the top read book review of this year.

[Your Church is Too Small by John Armstrong](https://bookwi.se/your-church-is-too-small-by-john-armstrong/) – I actually did this in three parts.  So here is [part two](https://bookwi.se/your-church-is-too-small-by-john-armstrong-part-2-truth-church-and-god-in-history/) and [part three](https://bookwi.se/your-church-is-too-small-by-john-armstrong-part-3-moving-forward/).  This is on of the best book on why the church should be ecumenical that I have ever read.

[The Hole in Our Gospel by Richard Stearns](https://bookwi.se/the-hole-in-our-gospel-by-richard-stearns/) – This book is free this month on audiobook at [christianaudio.com](https://christianaudio.com/free)

[Living Prayer: The Lord’s Prayer Alive in You by Dennis Fuqua](https://bookwi.se/living-prayer-the-lords-prayer-alive-in-you-by-dennis-fuqua/) – This is the best book on the Lord’s Prayer I have read.  Highly recommend it.

[Humility: True Greatness by C. J. Mahaney](https://bookwi.se/humility-true-greatness-by-c-j-mahaney/) – A good book on developing humility.  Not a popular topic, but a good book.

[Fearless by Max Lucado](https://bookwi.se/fearless-by-max-lucado/) – I like the idea of the book.  Take common fears and dispell them. (Also a review from last year.)

[Introverts in the Church: Finding Our Place in an Extroverted Culture by Adam McHugh](https://bookwi.se/introverts-in-the-church-finding-our-place-in-an-extroverted-culture/) – As an introvert, this was one of the more personally relevant books I have read in a while.  But I think it is good for any church leader to help you think about how the church may be alienating people by its own culture.
