Summary: A spoof of the DC superhero world.
I can’t remember if it was when I was reading about Chosen Ones or in Chosen Ones or something else entirely, but I saw a recommendation for Invincible and found a copy at my library. The version I read was probably 300 pages and had a real ending. But clearly it is just the start of these comics.
There is very clear spoofing of the DC world. Superman, Green Lantern, Batman, Flash, etc all have there versions here. I know there is an Amazon produce TV show about this, but I have not seen that. I am no comic book expert. I read two or three graphic novels/comic series a year at most. And I never was into the deep lore.
But the last Superman novel I read was similar in theme to the large storyline which I won’t give away. I am not blown away by this, but I do think it is worth reading another couple hundred pages if I can get it from my library.
